About Me
My name is Melissa Decker and I have been an EIP teacher since 2003, but I have been an educator for 26 years in Savannah Chatham County. I received my Bachelors Degree from Valdosta State University in 1989, my Masters Degree from Armstrong State University in 2007, and my Education Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University in 2009.
I started my teaching career at Pooler Elementary school, and taught there for 10 years before moving to Isle of Hope. I love IOH and will be here until I retire!
I am married to a wonderful man named Scott and we just recently became grandparents for the first time to a precious little boy named Jace. But we also have a baby of our own! Our dog, Ally!! She is absolutely rotten and we LOVE her!! This picture is of her last year at Wag-O-Ween after she had trick or treated her way through downtown Savannah. If you have a dog, you should really participate in this awesome event.
